Speaking
I speak to community audiences, parent groups, and practitioner audiences on nutrition in pregnancy, postpartum recovery, lactation, and balancing health in early motherhood, with a focus on how to evaluate nutrition claims rather than simply which ones to believe.
Talks are practical and demonstration-based. Attendees leave with practical knowledge that they can use.

Community Speaking Engagements
No/low cost, hosted at community spaces
Most women leave their prenatal appointments with a handout, a prescription, and almost nothing on how their diet can impact the crucial months (and years) ahead - for both mother and child. The internet is more than happy to fill this silence - with protocols, powders, and postpartum "recovery" supplements that sound certain, but rarely are.
Stacey Aggarwal, PhD, is a pharmacologist and certified nutrition counselor that sits between those two worlds: she takes food, herbs, and traditional practice seriously enough to hold them to real evidence.
In her community talks, she'll cover what the science supports, what it doesn't, and how to assess the strength of an internet claim. Children welcome!

Stacey Aggarwal holds a PhD in pharmacology and is a certified nutrition counselor. She spent her doctoral training studying how compounds move through the body - how they're absorbed, what they interact with, and why dose and context matter. Plants were never a separate category in that work; a great many of the drugs she studied started in one.
What drew her toward nutrition was a gap she kept running into from both sides. Conventional care is very good at naming a diagnosis and reaching for a prescription, and often has almost nothing to say about what a woman is actually eating during the years when that matters most. Meanwhile, the wellness industry and social media rushed into that vacuum with enormous confidence and very little evidence. Her work sits in between: food first, tradition taken seriously, and every claim - herbal or pharmaceutical - held to the same standard.
Through Full Bloom Nutrition, she works with women across the preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum years. She is also a homeschooling mother of 2 and the owner of Blooming Fields Lavender, a lavender farm in Athol.
